SONG & DANCE CLASSES‍

Song & Dance is an introduction to music and dance. The primary goal is to foster a love of rhythm and movement. The creative component is quite large. Several fun or special activities happen in each class. For example, Taking part in dancing out a narrative helps children to understand that movement is another form of expression. It is a means of communicating feelings and actions. The vocabulary covered in Song & Dance is comprised of steps, rhythms and melodies which a 2.5 - 4 year-olds can master— steps that help build self-confidence.The vocabulary is also set up to prepare students for any private music or group dance classes. Class length is 45 minutes and consists of 15 minutes of tap, 15 minutes of ballet and 15 minutes of tumbling for ages 2.5 - 4 once per week.
